How to Start, Grow, and Cashflow an Online Business on a Budget [without tech headaches and overwhelm]

One of the biggest challenges in starting your online business can be determining what tools, software, and equipment you need that will grow with you. Many new business owners and entrepreneurs find themselves lost or jumping from one *thing* to the next.

I totally get it.

There are so many options to choose from that your head can be left spinning.

I was there, too many times.

Instead of focusing on growing my business and producing income, I was more focused on what was the next new *thing* I needed to purchase that was going to take my business to the next level.

The one thing I did know was this--that I needed simplicity. I didn't want to deal with tech headaches. I didn't want to deal with a ton of set up. I didn't want to deal with multiple service providers and log-in and monthly bill tracking. I didn't want to deal with having to hire web developers.

Here's the real deal: I wanted everything to be user-friendly.

The reason I had these requirements was because:

  1. I wanted to focus solely on producing valuable content for my peeps
  2. I wanted to focus on income / revenue producing activities for my business (let's face it, it's not a business if it's not making money)
  3. I wanted to be able to recommend these to others with confidence, knowing they could use the tools easily so they, too, could focus on building their businesses. (I've created a resource page here with my favorites that you can use to get started today, without tech headaches and overwhelm.)

Once you can hone in and get laser-focused with sticking to

  • one plan
  • one objective
  • one goal
  • step-by-step
  • with a coach (like meeeee)

 you will then see your business build momentum and ultimately explode.

And that's a really good thing!

Your next step is to go to my biz tools pageand, at minimum, set up your Kajabi account and grab your business domain name via Namecheap (if you don't already have one).

>>Here's another thing, there are lots of platforms where you can set up your website. Platforms such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Wix, and many more.

What sets Kajabi apart is that everything is all in one place and space.

When I say everything I literally mean E V E R Y T H I N G.

Kajabi houses:

  • your website (with your own personalized domain (biz) name;
  • your email list complete with tags and automations (you may not yet be familiar with these, yet trust me, these are HUGE when it comes to growing and segmenting your email list),
  • your blog;
  • your podcast;
  • your funnels;
  • your landing pages;
  • your sales pages;
  • your payment capture;
  • your courses and programs;
  • your memberships;
  • your hosting;
  • your backup;
  • and more!

And they keep growing and improving! Kajabi's customer support is second to none and is available 24/7.

This-is-unheard-of!

Before I moved over to Kajabi, I was using Wordpress, BlueHost for hosting, BlogVault for backup, LeadPages for opt-ins, sales pages and thank you pages, ConvertKit for my email list and...you get the idea.

Now, I'm not saying that any of these are lacking in what they promise to offer, they are all good and decent products. However, if you're anything like me and you want to start a business that will grow with you and be convenient as well as headache free and user-friendly, then Kajabi is for you.

You will save so much time, money, and frustration by simplifying and streamlining your service providers. Heck, with LeadPages and ConvertKit alone, I was laying out just over $100 per month. You can imagine how much was leaving my pocketbook when adding in all the other services each month.

Could Kajabi still allow for some more personalized customization? Sure. Yet I'll take the tradeoff any day. The goal in business is to be first to market. Speed is everything in the online world. Kajabi makes it simple to bring a blog, a landing page, a sales page, a product, and a membership to market. If I can do it, friend, I know you can too. Why get bogged down in tech and miss your marketing opportunity window?

Additionally, as has been my experience thus far with Kajabi, more customization is on its way. The leadership team at Kajabi is so tuned in to its customer that new tools just keep on comin'.
