What Are You Willing To Give Up In Order To Accomplish Your Goal?
In this video I encourage you to expand this into reaching your business goal. It's why you're here because you want to start a side hustle and ultimately stop trading time for a paycheck so that you never have to go job hunting again!
Let's dive in to the meat of this...
- Television. This is such an energy and time-sucker that is a mindless activity. This includes Netflix, Hulu, and any other video streaming. Oh, and don't you worry, sports is included in this as well, so don't think you're off the hook if this is how you spend your TV time!
- Sleep. Can you give up an hour of sleep at night or get up an hour early in the morning in order to achieve your goal. This might look like getting up in the morning to schedule some social media posts, it might look like a Facebook Live, it might look like writing 1400 words for your long-awaited dream of writing a book. Imagine if you give up TV and a little bit of sleep how much extra time you will have. Amazing!
- Surfing the Web or Social Media Scrolling. How many times do you find yourself mindlessly surfing or scrolling? Look, I'm the first one to admit that I love social media and I also know how quickly I can slip into the social media abyss. A solution I've found it so set a timer so you can get in and get out and get done what you intended, with intention.
For things to change, you have to change. For things to get better, you have to get better. For things to be different, you have to do different things.
What are you willing to cut back on or give up, in the short-term, in order to accomplish your goal?
I believe in you and what is so possible for your life, from the bottom of my heart to the bottom of yours.
